Task force on Artifical Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming healthcare - including paediatric cardiology. From diagnostics and imaging to workflow optimisation and research, AI is creating new opportunities, but also raising important questions around ethics, implementation, and clinical value.

Following the recent AEPC member survey, there was clear enthusiasm for a dedicated initiative on AI - over 80% of respondents supported the idea of creating a dedicated Task Force on Artificial Intelligence.

We are now inviting interested members to take part in this new initiative,

A task force built together

This task force will start from the ground up. Once an initial group of participants is formed, members will collaboratively define:

  • The structure of the task force
  • Its key objectives and priorities
  • Areas of focus, which may including clinical applications, research, education, and ethics

This is a unique opportunity to help shape AEPC’s direction in a rapidly evolving field.

Who should join?

We welcome all AEPC members with an interest in AI - whether you are already working with AI tools or simply curious about its potential impact on paediatric cardiology.
