AEPC - Heart beats for education

Teaching webinars on paediatric/congenital cardiology & cardiac surgery in collaboration with ERN GUARD-Heart

The AEPC, in collaboration with ERN GUARD-Heart, is initiating a series of teaching webinars on paediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery topics, serving towards preparation for the AEPC exam. The sessions will cover topics summarised in the AEPC Recommendations for Training in Paediatric and Congenital Cardiology" (CITY, 2020).

These webinars, planned via the Educational Committee and Junior Member representatives, will happen on a biweekly basis on Wednesdays between 17:00-18.30 CET, starting on 7 December 2022.

The format of the webinars will generally consist of a case presentation, followed by 2 lectures, and will allow sufficient time for Q&A and interaction with the speakers.

We will kick-off the series with a webinar on Arrhythmia, that will be held on Wednesday 7 December 2022 from 17:00-18:30 CET.

The second session will take place on Wednesday 21 December 2022 and will cover Coarctation.

Session 3 will take place on Wednesday 11 January 2023 and will cover MIS-C / Kawasaki.

Session 4 on Wednesday Wednesday 25 January 2023 will be the first session on Fetal cardiology.
