AEPC TEACHING COURSES FOR TRAINEES

AEPC Advanced training course catheter interventions 2026 - Secure your spot now!

Last updates Aug 12, 2026

Dear AEPC Junior Members,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the AEPC Advanced Training Course in Catheter Interventions, to be held in the exciting city of Marseille, France, on 17 & 18 November 2026.

This year again, the advanced course will deal with transcatheter treatment in complex congenital heart lesions with particular emphasis on how to best plan and guide transcatheter interventions.

The course is designed to accommodate up to 25 fellows who have at least one year of interventional training.

The course curriculum will offer insights into advanced techniques, strategies, and new devices/technologies to achieve the best interventional outcome. Challenging cases, complications, and successes will be presented by you, the fellows, and subsequently completed and discussed by the faculty in a very informal atmosphere, thus enabling effective interaction and networking with experts in the field.

Hands-on sessions will take place in three different rooms, giving you the opportunity to interact directly with faculty members and industry representatives. You will be able to discuss the devices, learn when and how to use them, and gain practical insights into their applications. Companies and faculty members will provide devices and simulation stations, allowing you to handle the equipment, experiment with it, and experience realistic clinical scenarios in a safe learning environment.

We hope you will join us and look forward to seeing you in Marseille in November!

Best wishes

Caroline Ovaert, Course Director, on behalf of the AEPC Interventional Working Group
